SAN DIEGO - San Diego State's men's golf team is set to send five individuals to compete at the seventh annual, 54-hole Wyoming Cowboy Classic this week. The tournament, which is hosted by the University of Wyoming, is scheduled for April 6-7, at the Talking Stick Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz.

First and second round action will commence on Monday, April 6, with a 7:45 a.m. shotgun start. Final round action on Tuesday is set for the same start time.

Head coach Ryan Donovan will take the fivesome of junior Michael Wynn, sophomore Jerry Porras and freshmen Alex Kang, Tyler Morris and J.J. Spaun to compete at the 7,133 yard, par-70 Talking Stick Golf Club. The course has served as the host for all seven Cowboy Classic events.

The Aztecs are set to take on a field of 21 schools, including Arizona, Boise State, Fresno State, Gonzaga, Idaho, Northwestern, Old Dominion, Oregon State, Pacific, San Diego, San Jose State, Southern Utah, Texas, UC Davis, UC Riverside, UC Santa Barbara, Utah, UTEP, Weber State, Western Carolina and host Wyoming.

Following the trip to Scottsdale, San Diego State will return to the Grand Canyon State with a different line up to play at the ASU Thunderbird Invitational, April 10-11.
