San Diego State Embarks on Final Mountain West Conference Road Trip, Faces TCU on Saturday
San Diego State (18-8 overall; 8-5 MWC) will look to avoid its first three-game losing streak of the season and its first since early February of last season when it visits Daniel-Meyer Coliseum and TCU (14-14; 5-9 MWC) on Saturday night. The game is slated for 7:30 p.m. CT/5:30 p.m. PT, will be televised by The Mtn. and simulcast live on Channel 4 San Diego.

The Aztecs are coming off a crushing 69-59 defeat to Brigham Young on Tuesday in a game where SDSU held a 14-point lead with 15:40 remaining. The loss snapped San Diego State's 10-game home winning streak and its five-game winning streak over BYU inside Cox Arena. TCU, meanwhile, has struggled of late losing eight of its last nine, but owns a 10-4 record at home and a victory over the Aztecs last season at DMC.

Game Tidbits:
* San Diego State will look to prevent its first three-game losing streak since February of 2008, which ironically started at TCU last year. The Aztecs will also look to avoid a three-game skid this late in the season since 2004-05 when they dropped six straight to end the campaign (Feb. 12-March 5).

* Senior Richie Williams, who Steve Fisher has called the best defensive player in the league, is closing in on the MWC record for assists. He is three shy of former Wyoming standout Jay Straight. Earlier this month, Williams broke former teammate Brandon Heath's league and school record for career steals.

* San Diego State will look to provide head coach Steve Fisher with his 350th career victory on Saturday night against TCU. Fisher, who is in his 18th full season of coaching at the Division I level, has experienced success against the Horned Frogs going 6-1 in his career.
