SAN DIEGO (AP) -- Ryan Amoroso scored 23 points as San Diego State handed Colorado State its 15th straight loss, 86-62, Saturday night.

With the victory, the Aztecs improved to 19-10 overall and 9-6 in the Mountain West Conference, where they are in fourth place.

Colorado State, 6-22, is winless in the MWC at 0-14 and has lost 19 straight road games this season. The Rams' last victory came at home on Dec. 29, 2007 against Western State, 87-47.

D.J. Gay and Billy White joined Amoroso in double figures with 18, and 16, respectively. Gay scored San Diego States first eight points and connected on four of six from three-point land. White scored all of his points in the first half, which ended with the Aztecs in front, 45-28.

Amoroso, who hit on 10 of 12 shots from the floor, scored 15 points in the second half as San Diego State built its largest lead to 25 at 85-60.

Lorrenzo Wade had eight points and eight rebounds in addition to a game-hit 11 assists for the Aztecs.

Marcus Walker, who leads the MWC in scoring averaging 18 points a game, had 15 for the Rams, but just two in the first half.

Earlier this season, San Diego State beat Colorado State, 83-82, with Amoroso leading the way with 23 points. In that game the Rams hit 14 treys.

Saturday night they were 3-for-13 from three-point land while San Diego State was 10-for-19.
