Team Notes
-San Diego State drove 43 yards in 12 plays on its first possession of the game to kick a field goal. That marked the first time this season the Aztecs have scored on their first possession of the game. Prior to today, the last time SDSU scored on its opening possession was at UNLV on Nov. 10, 2007. Today snapped a streak of 11 consecutive games without getting points on the initial drive.

-San Diego State's starting defensive line today consisted of two true freshmen, a sophomore and a junior.

-The Aztecs had 10 different players catch at least one pass in today's game. That is the team's most in a single outing since SDSU also had 10 players with a catch in its game at Air Force on Sept. 10, 2005.

-With the third quarter touchdown, San Diego State extended its streak of scoring at least one touchdown to 23 consecutive games.

Individual Notes

-Russell Allen - Started his 33rd consecutive game tonight... His streak is 12 longer than three players who share the second longest streak on the squad (21 games) ... Has at least two tackles in 45 straight games and three or more in 43 of 45 career games ... Recorded his 10th career game with at least 10 tackles today, posting 11 stops, including six solos.

-J.J Autele - Started at defensive end today making his second career start in his fifth game played... The true freshman also started against Air Force.

-Corey Boudreaux -Led the team with 13 stops, including 11 solo tackles... Earlier this season, the senior posted a 21-tackle game against Air Force... Boudreaux now has four double-digit tackle games this season and four in the last five outings.

-Tyler Campbell -After making his first career reception in the fourth quarter last week, had four catches for 25 yards vs. the Cowboys.

-Ryan Lindley - The redshirt freshman continued to show improvement following the slight shoulder septarian he suffered earlier in the season... He ended the first quarter 7-of-8 with 61 passing yards... For the game, Lindley surpassed the 300-yard passing mark for the third time in his career... The third-quarter touchdown strike gave him 11 touchdown passes for the season against just six interceptions... The freshman has a touchdown strike in all three games since missing the Air Force outing ... His 28 completions today were one off his school-record for most completed passes by a freshman... His 52 passes without an interception were the most ever by an Aztec freshman without an INT ... His 52 pass attempts are second all-time by a freshman, only trailing his 59 attempts at Notre Dame ... His 311 yards passing are tied for the fourth most ever by an Aztec freshman.

-Nick Sandford - Tied a career high with 10 tackles today against Wyoming... The junior also posted a team-high two tackles for loss in the contest.

-Justin Shaw - Caught his first career touchdown reception in the third quarter of today's game... He entered the game with three catches for 46 yards this season, but the senior posted big numbers today - three catches for 71 yards, including the 37-yard TD reception.

-Brian Stahovich - Recorded his fifth, sixth and seventh punts of 50 or more yards this season, including a 57-yard punt in the second quarter and a 53-yard boot in the third quarter... He ended the game with five punts for an average of 49.6 yards, including two that pinned Wyoming inside the 20-yard line... The Cowboys managed just 17 return yards off his punts... His net average for the day, 42.2 yards.

-Lane Yoshida - Kicked a 35-yard field goal on SDSU's first series of the game... Suffered the first blocked kick of his career in the second quarter... He is now 6-for-8 for the season and his career.

-Robrtro Wallace - Set career highs for receptions and receiving yards - in the first half... Wallace went into intermission with five catches for 52 yards... He ended the contest with a team-high seven catches for 66 yards.
