-The Records: With a perfect 2-0 record last week, the San Diego State women's basketball team is looking to build upon its pair of strong performances against BYU and UNLV, as it plays host to Colorado State Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Cox Arena. The Aztecs, who have a bye on Saturday, have just two contests remaining in the first round of conference action and are just one victory away from tying their season win total from all of last year, entering Wednesday's clash with an 11-7 mark and a 2-4 record in the MWC. Colorado State, meanwhile, is on the other end of the spectrum, bringing a 2-16 record and a nine-game losing streak, including an 0-5 mark in league play, to San Diego.

-SDSU Head Coach Beth Burns: Burns (Ohio Wesleyan, 1979) is in the third year of her second stint as head coach at San Diego State. She led the Aztecs for eight seasons from 1989 to 1997, before returning in 2005. She has an overall head coaching record of 258-195 in 15 seasons, while she is 177-130 in her 10 previous campaigns at SDSU.

-CSU Head Coach Jen Warden: Warden is in her third season at CSU. Her school record is 19-57, while her six-year head coaching mark is 48-116.
