* - SDSU wins its 13th consecutive home game. It is the longest winning streak in Cox Arena history and the longest in 26 years.
* - The Aztecs have won five of their last six Mountain West Conference openers.

Shuffling the Starters
* - The starting five of Ryan Amoroso, D.J. Gay, Kyle Spain, Lorrenzo Wade and Billy White made their fourth start of the season and are 3-1 as a starting unit this season.
* - Freshman D.J. Gay made the start at point guard for the Aztecs for the injured Richie Williams. It marked the 10th start of the season for the true freshman, who improves to 9-1 as a starter.

Player Notes
* - Junior forward Lorrenzo Wade reached double figures for a team-high 12th time this season and the 34th time in his career... It is the second straight game he has scored 10 or more and the ninth time in the last 10 games, with the lone exception being the game at 19th-ranked Arizona... Wade had a season-high eight rebounds.
* - Junior forward Kyle Spain reached double figures for the ninth time this season and the 27th time in his career.
* - Junior guard Kelvin Davis came off the bench to reach double figures for the ninth time this season... Davis tied his career high with three steals.
* - Junior Ryan Amoroso posted his sixth double-figure effort of the season.
