AUSTIN, Texas - The San Diego State track and field team wrapped up day three of the 80th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays by competing in more events than the first two days combined. Over the course of the first two days, SDSU took part in three total events and followed it with 10 alone on Friday.

The morning got off to a busy start with four running events beginning at the same time. The 4x100-meter relay kicked things off and the Aztecs completed the race in 46.05 seconds. In the 4x400, SDSU posted a season-best time of 3:43.94.

To finish off the morning's running events, Kristin Olafsdottir registered a clocking of 14.68 in the 100-meter hurdles and three Aztecs competed in the 100-meter dash. The 100 consisted of 12 heats with SDSU represented in three of them. Pencil came in fourth place in Heat 4 with a time of 11.99, while Koehler placed fifth (11.95) in Heat 6. San Diego State's top 100 time came from Solomon, who crossed the finish line second in 11.86.

After competing in two early morning races, Koehler moved to the field events where she leaped 18 feet, 2.25 inches in Section B of the long jump. SDSU's pole vaulters also took the stage and were led by Dana Van Wagner's NCAA regional qualifying clearance and sixth-place effort of 12-5.50. Her Section B performance marks the second straight week and the fourth overall in which she has posted a regional qualifying mark. Teammate Monica Pacas finished right behind Van Wagner in seventh place with a vault of 11-11.75.

In the afternoon session of the field events, Shana Watson finished 10th with a Section A long jump of 18-10.75 and then came back with an NCAA regional qualifying and personal-best triple jump of 41-1.50 (sixth place) in Section B. Decontee Kaye joined Watson in posting a regional qualifying distance in the triple jump with a 10th-place effort of 40-5.50.

As day turned into night, the Aztecs competed in their first sprint medley relay of the season and finished with a time of 3:59.86, to finish in eighth place. To end SDSU's day, Celeste Tyson ran in the 3,000-meter steeplechase and turned in an 11th-place time of 11:13.50.

Final day action of the Texas Relays will begin at noon CDT for San Diego State with Stephanie Bagan competing in the Section A pole vault.
