OKLAHOMA CITY - The San Diego State swimming and diving team remained in ninth place at the conclusion of day two of the Mountain West Conference Championships being contested in Oklahoma City. The Aztecs' total of 63 points is 15 behind Air Force, which is in eighth place after the meet's first 16 events. Brigham Young continues to hold the team lead with 327 points.

SDSU diver Caitlin Atkinson recorded the team's first point in an individual event on Thursday as she finished 12th in the one-meter. She was the only Aztec to advance to the finals, finishing with a score of 242.50 for her six dives.

Senior Emily Parker also picked up points in the 500 freestyle, finishing fifth in the B final (13th overall) with a time of 5:04.08.

In the 200 free relay, the foursome of Christine Graham, Ana Dowell, Katie Leahy and Kimberlee Frith was ninth in a time of 1:38.29. Their mark was the fastest time in the event for SDSU this season, besting the previous season low by 1.65 seconds.
