For the second consecutive year, San Diego State softball will host the National Fastpitch Coaches College (NFCC) Coaches Clinic. This year's clinic will run from January 13-15, 2007, in the Aztec Athletics Center Auditorium, with the main focus being "Position Play and Practice."

The NFCC offers one-of-a-kind, in-depth instruction over the three-day period. Participants can earn continuing education units, master coach status or the opportunity to earn a master's degree in kinesiology.

The clinic will feature guest instructors Margie Wright, head coach at Fresno State, Linda Wells, head coach of the Greek National Team and former head coach at Arizona State, and John Tschida, head coach of the 2004 and 2005 NCAA Division III national champion University of St. Thomas (MN).

The fee for this clinic is $225 for NFCA members and $250 for non-NFCA members, and $25 will be taken off the registration fee for those who sign up by Dec. 31.
