The Series:
With the loss SDSU fell to 13-10 all-time against Cal Poly.

Another Henderson Hundred:
After gaining 90 or more yards in each of his last four outings, redshirt freshman running back Atiyyah Henderson continued that streak tonight with 140 yards on a career-best 26 carries ... Henderson is the first player to run for 100 or more yards in a game against Cal Poly in 2006 ... Henderson is the first SDSU player to record back-to-back 100-yard rushing efforts since Lynell Hamilton ended 2005 with three straight ... Three current SDSU running backs have now logged two or more 100-yard rushing games in their first season of collegiate competition (also Brandon Bornes in 2004, Lynell Hamilton in 2003).

Against Air Force last week, Henderson became the 68th player in Aztec history to record a 100-yard rushing game, ending up with a career high 142 yards on a then career-best 25 carries.

10 Stops:
Sophomore linebacker Russell Allen reached double-figures in tackles for the second straight outing with 10 tonight. Allen had a career best 14 stops last week against Air Force and now has three career games with 10 or more tackles ... Antwan Applewhite also had 10 tackles for the Aztecs, a career-high.

A Perfect Porter Day:
Senior wideout Ramal Porter scored his first touchdown of the season and second of his career with four minutes left in the first quarter ... It was his first TD since 2004 ... Porter added another TD reception later in the quarter on a 34-yard pass from Kevin Craft ... Porter is the first Aztec to have two TD receptions in the same game since Jeff Webb turned the trick in the season finale against Hawai'i in 2005 ... Porter's second quarter kickoff return of 27 yards was a team season-long, beating Justin Amaral's 23-yard return versus Utah (9-23).

Pass Happy:
SDSU equaled its season total for passing touchdowns in the first quarter of tonight's game. The Aztecs had tossed just two TD passes in 2006, one versus Utah and one last week against Air Force.

Ahead At The Half:
SDSU enjoyed a halftime lead for the second consecutive week ... The Aztecs' 14, first-quarter points are the only points allowed by Cal Poly in the first quarter this season.

Other Notes:
SDSU junior defensive end Nick Osborn forced his first career fumble in the first quarter ... senior safety Reggie Grigsby recovered his third career fumble (first since 2003) in the second quarter ... Aztec junior linebacker Ted Edwards made his SDSU debut Saturday versus Cal Poly ... SDSU junior wideout Chaz Schilens has now caught a pass in 12 straight games ... Donny Baker tallied his 30th career pass breakup and is now in fourth place by himself in Aztec career history ... An SDSU opponent has started a drive in Aztec territory 17 times in 2006, including twice tonight.
