WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - San Diego State goalkeeper Tally Hall (Gig Harbor, Wash./Gig Harbor HS) has been named the Pac-10 Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the period of Sept. 19-25. The award is the first weekly honor by the senior and the first by an Aztec since Kraig Chiles won the award on Oct. 3, 2005.

Hall tied his career-high with 11 saves in SDSU's 2-0 upset on the road against No. 16 California. He faced 18 shots on the afternoon to record his third shutout of the season. Hall turned away three shots in the first period and eight more in the second with the Bears pressuring for the equalizer. The 11 stops were the most by a Pac-10 player this year.

Hall, a 2005 All-American and first-team all-Pac-10 selection, is 5-2-1 this season with a 1.08 goals against average. He is averaging 3.88 saves per game, best in the Pac-10 of players with a minimum five games played, and has a 77.5 shots on goal percentage.

Hall and the Aztecs (5-3-1, 1-1-0 Pac-10) will host Oregon State at 4 p.m. Friday at SDSU Sports Deck.
