San Diego State softball head coach Kathy Van Wyk has announced a busy fall schedule, highlighted by the annual All San Diego Fall Tournament. The Aztecs will play every game of their fall season at SDSU Softball Stadium.
SDSU kicks off play on Oct. 13 with a game against Palomar Junior College. The following day the Aztecs play host to Southwestern Community College.
SDSU plays four more contests over the next two weekends, including games against Cypress College (Oct. 20), Fullerton Junior College (Oct. 21), Western Arizona Community College (Oct. 27) and Azusa Pacific (Oct. 28).
On the first weekend of November, the Aztecs play host to the San Diego Fall Tournament. Five schools from the San Diego area are scheduled to compete including SDSU, Cal State San Marcos, San Diego, UC San Diego and Point Loma Nazarene.
The Aztecs wrap up the fall schedule with their annual alumni game on Nov. 11, scheduled to begin at noon.
Admission to all fall softball events are free and the games do not count towards the 2006 season record.
