SAN DIEGO - San Diego State head coach Rahn Sheffield and sophomore Corri Campbell-Fell are set to travel to Beijing, China for the 11th IAAF World Junior Championships. The world event is being held at the Beijing Chaoyang Sports Fitness and Leisure Park from August 15-20.

Sheffield, entering his 16th season on Montezuma Mesa, is one of four assistant coaches on head coach Rose Monday's prestigious six-person staff. Joining Sheffield are head manager Cedric Walker and assistant coaches Kerry Lane, Qingyi Zheng and Sharifa Barksdale.

Campbell-Fell, meanwhile, was named to the Canadian Junior National Team, after finishing second in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1 minute, .77 seconds, earlier this month. The Vancouver, Canada, product will begin preliminary competition on day one of the championships, Aug. 15.
