TEAM NOTES

* - With the victory, San Diego State secured its second consecutive winning month. SDSU went 3-2 in November and posted 4-3 December, marking the first consecutive winning months since November and December of 2003.

* - San Diego State reached the 80-point mark for the fourth time this season, but the first since the Dec. 3rd game against Point Loma Nazarene. The Aztecs are 4-0 this season and 30-13 in the Fisher era when reaching at least 80 points.

* - With 10 three-point field goals, San Diego State matched its season-high for most treys.

* - San Diego State 7-2 this season when leading at the half and 66-22 in the Steve Fisher era when holding a lead at intermission.

* - The Aztecs are 7-1 this season when owning a higher field goal percentage in the contest.

* - San Diego State's 42 first half points are the most since the Aztecs posted 42 in the second half of the Point Loma game on Dec. 3.

* - SDSU's Trimaine Davis became the first SDSU player to foul out this season.

* - This marked the fourth time this season SDSU has a rebound margin of +10 or greater. The Aztecs are 4-0 in those games.

* - Mohamed Abukar - Made his first career start in his 39th career game and his second game in an Aztec uniform... Needed just 31 seconds to score his first career points at Cox Arena.

* - Brandon Heath - Made his first two three-point field goal attempts of the day... Since the beginning of the Providence game he is 9-of-17 from three-point range... Heath reached double figures for the 58th time in his career and the 10th time in 12 games this season... He has scored 10 or more in each of the last four games... Heath was 4-for-4 from the line today and is now 24 for his last 26 from the line... He tallied 20 or more points for the sixth time this season and the 27th time in his career... The five three-point field goals by Heath are the most by an Aztec player this season.

* - Kyle Spain - Went 8-for-9 from the line in the first half and has now made 24 of his last 33 attempts from the line.

* - Richie Williams - Recorded San Diego State's first three assists of the day... The freshman had just one assist in his last three games combined... He also connected on his first attempt from the field, a three-pointer... It was his fourth three of the season and marked the fifth straight game with at least one three-point field goal... Williams had perhaps the best half of his young career with 12 points, five rebounds, four assists and four steals by intermission... He set career highs for the game with 16 points and seven rebounds..

* - John Sharper - Recorded his 11th straight game with multiple treys... He was 3-for-4 from long range and scored 11 points.. It was his sixth double-digit scoring game of the season and the 11th time in his career.

* - Trimaine Davis - Reached double figures for the seventh time in his last 17 games after doing so just once in his first 61 collegiate games.
