SAN DIEGO - Aztecs Defeat Saint Xavier In Lone Exhibition Of The Season
• With tonight's win, San Diego State has now won 10 consecutive exhibition contests.
• The Aztecs open the 2005-06 regular season Nov. 17 at the Top of the World Classic in Fairbanks, Alaska, wher e they will take on Alaska Fairbanks at 6 p.m. AST.

SDSU Player Notes
• Junior Marcus Slaughter and senior John Sharper led all scorers with 12 points apiece.
• Slaughter was perfect from the free throw line going 6-for-6. • Sharper led the Aztecs with eight rebounds.

Aztec Tidbits
• The SDSU freshman class combined to score 17 points. (Kyle Spain 8 points, Richie Williams 5 points, Brett Hoerner 4 points)
• SDSU outrebounded the Cougars 37-29 for the game.
• San Diego State shot 92.3 percent (12-13) from the free throw line. Last season's team high was 85.7 percent at Utah on March 5.
• Had this been a regular season game, it would have been the first time the Aztecs shot at least 90 percent from the line since 2003 when SDSU went 12-for-12 against Air Force (Jan. 11, 2003).
