San Diego State softball will host the National Fastpitch Coaches College (NFCC) Coaches Clinic from January 14-16, 2006, in the Aztec Athletics Center Auditorium. The clinic's main focus will be "Teaching a Run-Producing Team Offense and Strategy."

The NFCC offers one-of-a-kind, in-depth instruction over the three-day period. Participants can earn continuing education units, master coach status or the opportunity to earn a master's degree in kinesiology.

The clinic will feature guest instructors Jay Miller, head coach at Mississippi State, Sharon Drysdale, NFCC director and head coach of the NPF's New England Riptide and former head coach of Northwestern University, and Patrick Murphy, head coach at Alabama.

The fee for this clinic is $225 for NFCA members and $250 for non-NFCA members, and $25 will be taken off the registration fee for those who sign up by Dec. 31.
