The San Diego State softball team will participate in the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) International Walk to Cure Diabetes on Saturday, Oct. 1 at De Anza Cove in Mission Bay Park.

"This is a very close and personal subject to the Aztec softball team," assistant coach Jen Milo said. "One of our student-athletes lives with Type I Diabetes and I have three family members with the disease. We are working hard for a very good cause."

Check-in for the JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes will begin at 7:30 a.m., with the Walk slated for a 9 a.m. start. For more information, please check out the attached flier or copy and paste the link below into your web browser:
