SAN DIEGO - San Diego State incoming freshman Corri-Ann Campbell-Fell (Vancouver, British Columbia) won two bronze medals at the 2005 Pan Am Junior Championships July 31 in Windsor, Canada.

Campbell-Fell placed third in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1 minute, 0.64 seconds, finishing behind Nickiesha Wilson of Jamaica (57.40) and Krystal Cantey of the United States (59.26).

Later that day, Campbell-Fell ran the second leg of the 4x400-meter relay, as Canada posted a time of 3:41.29, third behind the U.S. (3:32.82) and Jamaica (3:36.99).

Campbell-Fell, who will enroll at SDSU in the fall, is the reigning Canadian junior national champion and national youth record-holder in the 400 hurdles. She also won gold medals at the 2004 Canadian national junior championships and 2004 British Columbia championships.

The Pan Am Junior Championships are held every two years, showcasing some of the world's top junior-aged athletes (19 and under). This year's edition featured over 600 competitors from 45 countries throughout North and South America and the Caribbean region.
