HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. - The San Diego State men's golf team shot a final-round 317 and finished third in the Irish Spring Invitational Golf Tournament, held at the Mission Inn Resort in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. The event was hosted by Notre Dame. The teams played 36 holes on Monday and 18 on Tuesday.

SDSU junior Andrew Scott fired a final-round 81 on Tuesday to finish tied for sixth in the individual race. He was tied for the lead after shooting rounds of 70 and 71 on Monday.

Wichita State edged Colorado State for the team title after the Shockers shot a 312 in windy Tuesday conditions.

Behind Scott, SDSU's Aaron Choi finished tied for 11th with a 75 on Tuesday and a final score of 226. Linus Nilsson was 24th and Chris Cole and Cory Segall tied for 45th in the medal race.
