The Aztecs' 3-1 start marks the best start for an Aztec squad since the 2000-01 team opened at 3-1 and matches the best record after four games in the last 20 seasons (since the 1984-85 NCAA Tournament team opened 8-0).
• SDSU's winning margin of 20 points surpasses the overall win margin for both teams combined in the last four meetings (17 points).
