ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The San Diego State swimming and diving team finished in fourth place at the New Mexico Lobo Fall Classic, completed Saturday at the Seidler Natatorium in Albuquerque. The Aztecs (525 points) were outdistanced by BYU (1,122 points), Northern Arizona (961) and UNM (818), but SDSU came out on top of last-place New Mexico State (289).

Top-10 finishes for the Aztecs include the 200-yard medley relay team (fifth), Caitlin Friedhoff (fifth) in the 200-yard freestyle, Katie Smith (third), Jennifer Arrow (fifth) and Lindsay Hnyda (eighth) in the 100-yard breaststroke.

Friedhoff also finished third in the 100-yard freestyle event and Emily Schmied finished fifth in the 200-yard butterfly

SDSU returns home to San Diego to face BYU at the Kroc Community Center, Nov. 12 at 1 p.m.
