ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The San Diego State swimming and diving team is in fourth place after Friday's action at the New Mexico Lobo Fall Classic. The Aztecs (143 points) finish competition Saturday at Seidler Natatorium, trailing BYU (343 points), Northern Arizona (274) and UNM (217), and leading New Mexico State (61).

SDSU had several top-10 finishes, including Kaitlin Friedhoff (third) and Samantha Peters (seventh) in the 50-yard freestyle, the 200-yard freestyle relay team (fourth) and the 400-yard medley relay team (fifth).

Other performers for the Aztecs included Sarah Davis (eighth in the 200 yard medley), Stella Karoly, Katie Smith, Emily Schmied, Lindsay Hnyda and Jennifer Arrow.

SDSU stays in Albuquerque for the New Mexico Invitational, Saturday at the Siedler Natatorium.
