The San Diego State softball coaching staff will be holding two instructive, informative and fun holiday softball clinics.
The hitting clinic will take place on December 18 & 19, 2004. Ages 9-13 will participate from 8-11 a.m., while the session for ages 14-18 will take place from Noon-3 p.m. The hitting clinic for ages 9-13 will focus on the basic fundamentals of hitting, slapping, and bunting. Offensive game situations will also be stressed. The high school hitting clinic (ages 14-18) is an advanced clinic with hands-on training in all aspects of hitting, slapping, and bunting. In depth hitting circuits will be conducted and offensive strategy will be stressed.
The advanced pitching clinic (High School and Junior College) will take place on December 20 & 21, 2004 from 9 AM-Noon each day. This advanced pitching clinic will focus on video analysis of technique and calling a game.
The SDSU coaching staff (head coach Kathy Van Wyk and assistant coaches Kelly Warren and Jennifer Milo), as well as current members of the SDSU softball team will instruct the clinics.
