SAN DIEGO - San Diego State senior water polo teammates Kristin Moore (Sacramento, Calif./Sierra College) and Holly Hartzell (Vista, Calif./Fallbrook HS) have been named to the 2003-2004 all-academic team by the American Water Polo Coaches Association.

Moore's grade-point average of 3.31 (Liberal Studies) and Hartzell's 3.21 GPA (Liberal Studies) earned them spots on the AWPCA's All-Academic Excellent Team. This is the second consecutive year that both have been honored with the award. The duo was also named to the 2004 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation academic all-conference team for their performance in the classroom.

As a team, the Aztecs were one of 32 teams recognized by the American Water Polo Coaches Association for having a team GPA above 2.70.
