WALNUT, Calif. - San Diego State's Nicole Ireland finished third in the 400 meter dash to highlight the second day of competition at the 46th Annual Mt. SAC Relays on Saturday.
Ireland posted a time of 54.68 to lead a group of five Aztecs in the event. Larnie Boyd placed 14th at 55.91. Hollann Givens ran a season best 56.05 to place 17th.
The Aztecs also competed in the 800 on Saturday with Jamillah Titus leading the way at 2:11.58 to finish 19th. Freshman Celeste Tyson ran a season best 2:18.81 and placed 49th, just ahead of Jackie Duncan at 2:19.76. Candace Hill also finished ninth in the discus with a toss of 143-01.
The Aztecs will compete in 12 events on Sunday, the final day of the Mt. SAC Relays.
