Stanford Invitational
* The cross country squad will travel to Stanford University this Saturday for the annual Stanford Invitational. Assistant coach Jennifer Nanista said she looks forward to this event each year because of the quality of competition.
"Stanford is a huge invitational," said Nanista. "This is when I can really see a runner's potential and how they react under pressure."
* The Stanford course is also the site of this year's NCAA regional meet.
"This will be good practice for us," said Nanista.
