SALT LAKE CITY - Just when the Aztecs thought that they had shaken that ugly 'error bug' that had been bothering them over the past few weeks it reappeared with a three-game loss to No. 18 Utah in games of 19-30 18-30, 17-30 at Crimson Court on Saturday. The Aztecs totaled 32 errors in the match versus Utah's 17.
Sophomore Melissa Cansdale was the only player with a hitting percentage over .200 with one kill on four attempts for a .250 clip, while sophomore Aspen McPartland led in the kills category with six, but also led with seven errors for a -.053 clip.
The Aztecs finished with 30 kills, nine total team blocks and a -.018 hitting percentage versus Utah's 42 kills, 14.5 total team blocks and .266 clip.
San Diego State will return to action when they take on the 13th-ranked Hawaii Wahine, Wednesday in Cox Arena at 7 p.m.
