Women's Water Polo Falls To UCSB In The Finals Of The National Collegiate Select Tournament

STOCKTON, Calif. - The No. 8 San Diego State women's water polo team (23-16) fell to UC Santa Barbara, 8-6, in the finals of the National Collegiate Select Tournament held at Pacific.

The Aztecs were led by sophomore Casey Finnegan, scoring two goals. Kelly Falcone, Jackie Lopez, Amber Prestegard and Holly Hartzell each added a goal to the SDSU total. Freshman goalie Ashley Zabel had three goalie saves while junior Heather Stiles had two.

Immediately following the championship game Hartzell was named first team all-tournament. Stiles and Falcone received second team all-tournament honors.
