Women's Water Polo Records Two Losses On Road Trip

SAN DIEGO -The No. 14 San Diego State women's water polo team lost to No. 1 UCLA and No. 15 Loyola Marymount, Saturday in Los Angeles.

The Aztecs were dominated by No. 1 UCLA, in a 21-3 defeat, Saturday morning at the Sunset Recreation Center in Los Angeles. San Diego State was led by Kelly Falcone, Holly Hartzell and Jackie Lopez who each scored a goal for the Aztecs.

The Aztecs were upset by No. 15 Loyola Marymount, 6-4, Saturday afternoon at the Burns Recreation Center Pool at LMU. SDSU's Amber Prestegard scored two goals and Kelly Falcone and Holly Hartzell each had one. Junior goalie Heather Stiles had 5 saves.

The Aztecs are next in action against Princeton Friday, Feb. 23 at 5:30 p.m. The game will be played at UC Santa Barbara.
