U.S.A.F ACADEMY, Colo. - The San Diego State women's swimming and diving team won six events with freshman Megan Storey and sophomore Erin Kilpatrick earning two each Saturday at Schlessman Pool on the U.S. Air Force Academy campus. The Aztecs lost to the Falcons 166.5-131.5.
Storey took first-place honors in the 1,000 and 500 freestyle finishing with times of 10:29.03 and 5:08.22, respectively. Kilpatrick touched the wall first in the 100 free (54.40) and 100 butterfly (58.72).
Other first-place finishes for the Aztecs include junior Heather DeFelice in the 100 breaststroke (1:07.24). DeFelice also earned three second-place finishes including the 200 medley relay with juniors Meghan Casillan, Tara Johnson and Adrienne Winans. Casillan also placed first in the 200 backstroke (2:08.42).
The Aztecs return to the pool Dec. 1 when they compete in the two-day Speedo Cup in Long Beach.
