SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State men's soccer team lost 1-0 to the St. Mary's College Gaels Friday at the SDSU Sports Deck. The Aztecs' record drops to 1-4.
The Gaels scored on an unassisted 35-yard shot from freshman forward Alex Monsalve. SDSU sophomore goalkeeper Brian Barnes was unable to control the ball as the shot deflected off his hands and into the net. St. Mary's sophomore goalkeeper Kellan Wilson picked up the win recording two saves on six shots. The Gaels' record improves to 2-3.
The Aztecs face the Cal Baptist Lancers on Monday, Sept. 18, at 4:00 p.m. on the SDSU Sports Deck.
