Swimmers Defeat Air Force, Lose to UNLV

The San Diego State women's swimming team defeated Air Force, 172.5-106.5, but lost to UNLV, 160.5-117.5, Saturday in Las Vegas. Fresno State also participated at the meet.

The Aztecs were led by Meghan Casillan who finished second in both the 100 and 200 backstroke overall. Mariana Luevano also recorded a second place time when she finished the 200 fly while Erin Kilpatrick came in third in the 200 freestyle.

SDSU will not compete again until the Mountain West Conference Championships, Feb. 16-19, in Oklahoma City.
