Tiffany Prats joined the Aztec coaching staff in January 2010 as the program[apos]s assistant coach and continues her role in 2011 as a volunteer assistant.

Prats competed for the Miami Hurricanes from 2003-07, playing in 37 tournaments, including the 2004 NCAA regionals, and logging nine individual top-10 finishes. She served as a team captain her senior year, was a four-year letterwinner and also was a member of Miami[apos]s Student-Athlete Council.

After earning her undergraduate degree in sports administration with a minor in business administration from Miami in May 2006, the Williston, Fla., native turned professional in 2007, and has competed on the Royal Canadian Tour, the Suncoast Ladies Series and the Duramed Futures Tour. She also worked as an assistant golf professional at the Deering Bay Yacht and Country Club in Coral Gables, Fla.

Prats attended Williston High School, where she was first-team all-state and all-area player of the year as a senior, after winning both the district and regional titles, before ending up fourth at the state championships. She was as an all-state honoree her junior campaign, served as team captain on two occasions and was named the girls[apos] golfer of the decade by the Gainesville Sun last October. Prats lost just one regular-season match during her prep career and posted a school-record round of 68.
