Sydney Gish joined San Diego State University in 2026 as a Facilities and Operations Assistant, supporting event management across multiple athletic programs. She serves as the event manager for Women’s Water Polo, Swim & Dive, Women’s Tennis and Men’s Tennis, while also assisting with Football and Men’s Basketball operations.
A former Aztec student-athlete, Gish competed on the SDSU Women’s Water Polo team, bringing a firsthand understanding of the student-athlete experience to her role. Her background allows her to approach event operations with a detail-oriented and team-focused perspective.
Gish earned her B.A. in Journalism and Media Studies, with a minor in Leadership Studies, from San Diego State University in May 2026.
Originally from Clovis, California, she is passionate about creating a positive and professional gameday environment while supporting the success of SDSU student-athletes.
