Sara Thompson joined San Diego State in July of 2022 as an assistant athletic trainer. She currently works with club sports.
As one of the club sports athletic trainers, Thompson provides medical coverage for San Diego State’s 22 club teams as well as the Spirit squad. She is also an assistant clinical coordinator for the volunteer athletic training students.
Thompson completed her Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology: Exercise Science from Pacific Lutheran University in May of 2020 and completed her master’s degree in Athletic Training from Azusa Pacific University in May of 2022.
