Bio entering the 2016-17 season.
Quentin Mege enters his first season at San Diego State as a volunteer assistant coach for the Aztecs. Mege comes to SDSU with a background in both tennis and sports medicine.
Mege most recently spent time with Barry University's men's tennis team in Miami, Fla., in the same capacity. He also spent time working with juniors at the Miami Beach Tennis Academy while in Florida.
Prior to his stint in Miami, Mege spent time as the assistant coach for his alma mater, the University of Nevada, Reno men's tennis team during the 2014-15 season, where he assisted on the court, with fundraising and recruiting and helped lead the team to its first-ever appearance at the Mountain West Conference championship final. During the spring of 2015, he also interned with the UNR sports medicine team, where he worked mainly with the injuries and injury prevention of the men's tennis team. He also researched and designed prevention plans for upper extremities injuries.
As a student-athlete, Mege contributed to his team as a two-year captain and helped carry the team to not only its best all-time record in a regular season, but also to a national top 50 ranking.
Mege received his bachelor's degree in community health sciences from UNR, and is currently working towards a master's degree in kinesiology and biomechanics at Point Loma Nazarene University.
