Kristen Paulius arrived at San Diego State in March of 2024. She is currently an assistant athletic trainer primarily working with the volleyball team, with a secondary duty of insurance coordinator.
Prior to joining the SDSU Athletics Medicine Staff, Paulius worked at Keene State College providing care for the field hockey, golf, cheer, men's basketball, e-sports, women's lacrosse and softball teams over her time there of two and half years.
A native of Downers Grove, Illinois, Paulius earned her bachelor's degree in athletic training from the University of Missouri in 2019, and earned her master's degree in applied human development from Boston University in 2021.
