bio entering 2023-2024 season
A two-time San Diego State alumna and former athletic tutor, Hannah Friesen joined Student-Athlete Academic Support Services (SAASS) as tutor coordinator and academic coordinator in the summer of 2022.
In her role, Friesen serves the dual purpose of supporting student-athletes of all sports as an academic mentor as well as running the SAASS tutoring program.
Using her four years of experience as a peer tutor and an additional year as a staff tutor, Friesen strives to foster a positive learning environment where academic independence is the ultimate goal.
Friesen graduated from San Diego State with her undergraduate and master's degree in history. She loves to travel solo and has been to thirteen countries and 14 U.S. states.
