TitleAssistant Athletic Trainer (Lacrosse)
Elizabeth Antosz

Liz Antosz joined the San Diego State athletic medicine staff in October of 2017, and works primarily with the Aztec women’s lacrosse program and has spent time working with the SDSU volleyball team.

As an assistant athletic trainer, Antosz oversees her teams’ medical and rehabilitative efforts. She also serves as a preceptor for SDSU’s undergraduate athletic training education program.

A BOC Certified Athletic Trainer, Antosz graduated from Illinois State in 2014 with a degree in athletic training. In the summer prior to her senior year, Antosz held internships at Camp Woodward where she oversaw BMX, skateboarding, gymnastics and cheerleading, and with the NBA’s Philadelphia 76ers for its basketball camp.

Following her time in Normal, Illinois, Antosz attended graduate school at San Jose State, where she ultimately earned her master’s degree in kinesiology. During her two-year stint at SJSU, she served as a kinesiology teaching assistant all while splitting time between the AHL’s San Jose Barracuda as an intern and at Santa Clara as a graduate athletic trainer (women’s indoor and sand volleyball, men’s and women’s tennis).

With her master’s degree in hand, Antosz made the move south to San Diego after she earned a post-graduate athletic training internship at UC San Diego. While in La Jolla, she worked with men’s volleyball, women’s swimming and diving, and men’s novice rowing.
