Bronson Santillan

Bronson Santillan
Bronson Santillan is currently the Associate Athletic Trainer working with the baseball team. He came to San Diego State in February of 2021 as an assistant athletic trainer.

Santillan is currently the athletic medicine department’s Covid coordinator. He also manages the annual memberships and subscriptions for the department.

Prior to his time at SDSU, Santillan worked at UC Irvine (2020) with their track and field, men’s soccer, and men’s tennis teams.

Before transitioning to collegiate athletics, Santillan spent time in professional baseball with the Texas Rangers (2017-2020) and the Tampa Bay Rays (2016). Santillan also worked with USA Baseball at the 2016 18U team trials in Houston.

Santillan earned a Master of Science in Athletic Training from Texas A&M in 2016; working with the baseball, football, and women's soccer teams during his time in College Station. He earned his undergraduate degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2013.

Bronson is a San Diego native, born and raised in Poway.
