Angela Morrison, from Economy, Nova Scotia, came to SDSU in 2002 from the University of North Dakota. She served as head coach of UND for the 2001 season, guiding the Fighting Sioux to a 9-6-1 record. Prior to taking over North Dakota[apos]s program, Morrison spent two years as the graduate assistant coach.

Morrison is involved with every aspect of the team, including assisting with team and individual training of field players and goalkeepers. She also acts as the recruiting coordinator.
During the summers of 1998 and 1999, Morrison worked in Halifax, Nova Scotia, as the technical director for the Halifax City Wanderers Soccer Club. The club encompasses nearly 1,500 members. Morrison was an associate head coach at the University of Maine-Presque Isle in 1998 doing field and goalkeeper specialty training.
As a player, Morrison played professionally for the Tasaki Perule Football Club of Kobe-City. While in Japan, she competed against such soccer notables as U.S. National Team members Tiffeny Milbrett and Shannon MacMillan, as well as other international stars. The team advanced to the club quarterfinal round of the national championships.
At the collegiate level, Morrison was a starter for the Acadia University Axewomen of Wolfville, Nova Scotia, for five years (Canadian college eligibility runs five seasons). She was an all-conference selection and the starting goalkeeper for the 1996-97 team that set a national Division I record posting a no-goals-against average the entire season and finished 14-0-3. The team won the AUAA Conference championship in her third, fourth and fifth years. She was part of the Canadian National Team pool for two years.
Morrison, who graduated from Acadia University with a bachelor[apos]s degree in physical education with a specialization in sport management, has continued her pursuit of higher education by earning a bachelor[apos]s degree in education from the University of Maine-Presque Isle and is currently completing a master[apos]s of science in educational leadership through the University of North Dakota.
She holds a [quote]C[quote] National Canadian coaching license and earned a National Soccer Coaches of America advanced national license.
