TitleWomen's Lightweight Rowing Assistant Coach
Alicia Stuebner

Alicia Stuebner finished her rowing eligibility at San Diego State with the completion of the 2002-03 rowing season, but that has not ended her involvement with the Aztec rowing program. In addition to coaching at SDSU, Stuebner is the lead rowing instructor at the Mission Bay Aquatic Center and has aspirations to be a head coach in the future.

Stuebner earned a bronze medal at the women[apos]s collegiate single race at the 2003 Pacific Coast Rowing Championships, helped the varsity eight boat to a sixth-place finish at the 2003 Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association championships, a second-place finish at the 2003 San Diego City Championships and a victory over Delaware in March 2003. She still holds the San Diego State Leg Sled record at 1,010 pounds and was named Most Valuable Novice in 1999.

An Arizona native, Stuebner was born in Mesa, Ariz., and went to Corona del Sol HS in Tempe, Ariz.
