Alexis Muecke begins her first year at San Diego State as a volunteer coach and will work primarily with the team[apos]s goalkeepers.
Muecke comes to SDSU after playing competitively at UC Davis from 1999-2002.
A three-year starter at goalie, she ranks second all-time at UCD in career saves with 338. She was an All-America selection in 2001 and earned Academic All-America honors in her final three seasons. She also holds the collegiate record for 4-meter blocks with 11 as a senior and 18 total over the course of her college career.
Muecke graduated in 2002 with a bachelor[apos]s of science degree in human development.
