Hailey Devlin

San Diego native Hailey Devlin is in her first year at San Diego State as academic advisor for the Aztecs football team’s defensive and special teams players. She is also the academic advisor for the SDSU volleyball team and women’s golf squad. 
 
Prior to joining the Aztec athletic department, Devlin worked as an assistant academic counselor at the University of Maryland from August 2019 to March 2020, where she advised the Terrapin softball, gymnastics, women's soccer and men's and women's track and field programs.
 
Devlin graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communication and sport management from the University of Arizona in 2018 before receiving her master’s in sport management from Jacksonville University in 2019.
 
Devlin was a highly successful student-athlete in college, posting a 77-30 career record in four seasons with the Arizona beach volleyball team from 2015-18 before playing one year for the Jacksonville indoor volleyball squad in the fall of 2018.
 
During her sophomore campaign as an undergraduate in the spring of 2016, Devlin compiled a 20-5 mark at the No. 5 position, helping the Wildcats to their first-ever NCAA Tournament berth. She also excelled in the classroom, earning second-team All-Pac-12 academic honors that season.
 
While completing her master’s, Devlin returned to Arizona in January 2019 and served one semester as a graduate intern for the C.A.T.S. Academic and Life Skills team.
               
A graduate of Scripps Ranch High School in San Diego, Devlin is a member of the National Association of Academic and Student-Athlete Development Professionals (N4A).
