entering 2024-25 season
Cassie Cyr began as the Associate Athletic Trainer working with the SDSU women's Cross Country and Track & Field teams in March 2024. Prior to joining the Aztecs, Cyr worked with the men's soccer, cross country, track & field and softball teams at Keene State College in Keene, N.H.
Cyr earned her Bachelors of Science in Healthcare Management and Policy in 2010 from the University of New Hampshire before going back to school in 2020 to earn her Masters of Science in Athletic Training from Plymouth State University. While pursuing her masters degree, Cyr supported the men's lacrosse, men's soccer and women's ice hockey teams at PSU as well as completing an internship at Franklin Pierce University with the baseball and spring football programs.
As a three-time marathoner, Cyr brings personal experience to her athletes and their care. She is a USATF registered medical provider, BOC certified, licensed in the state of New Hampshire and an NATA member.
After living in New England all her life, Cyr, along with her husband Shawn and son Cameron, moved to San Diego away from the snow and onto the beach!
