Alex Twombly is currently the Health Educator and Assistant Athletic Trainer working with the softball team. She came to San Diego State in July of 2021.
Prior to her time at SDSU, Twombly worked at Bradley University with the volleyball and softball teams (2018-2021) and Saint Leo University (2021).
A former student-athlete herself, Twombly was a four-year soccer player at Catawba College while working towards her undergraduate degree in Athletic Training in 2016. Twombly earned a Masters of Science degree in Sports Administration at Valparaiso University while working with the football program.
Alex is a San Diego native, born and raised in Encinitas.
