Doubles
– Played in 26 matches including all 23 dual matches, playing mostly on the top court… Went 6-3 in conference matches… Competed with five different partners… Paired with Yasmine Kabbaj 20 times… Earned consecutive wins on Feb. 14 and 16 over Hawai‘i’s Vilcek/Knezkova (6-2) and Long Beach State’s Cook/Ramstedt (6-4)… Won their first six Mountain West matchups on their way to the All-Mountain West Doubles team… Opened conference play by taking down Nevada’s Charrier/Cakarevic (6-2 on March 24), Wyoming’s Zehender/Borodina (7-5 on March 28), and Air Force’s Van Houweling/Kojonroj (6-3 on April 5)… Kept the winning going against New Mexico’s Jhang/Hoppe (6-2 on April 7), Colorado State’s Buzkova/Zhadzinskaya (6-3 on April 12) and Fresno State's Kobayashi/Magrini (6-4 on April 14)… Paired with Zoe Olmos twice including for the match at Boise State on March 17… Also played twice with Rania Azziz… Competed with Gloria Alogo for the match at Utah State on March 15… Partnered with Andreea Velcea for the match against UC San Diego on Jan. 30.
 
Singles – Competed in 31 matches including all 23 dual matches… Played primarily on the third court… Went .500 or better in all four categories, overall (12-12), tournament (4-4), dual (8-8) and Mountain West (4-3)… Defeated CSUN’s Yuliia Zhytelna (6-3, 6-4) in the SDSU Fall Classic I… Went 3-1 in the ITA Southwest Regional Championships with wins over Cal State Fullerton’s Diana Yanotovskaya (4-6, 6-3, 6-3), UC Santa Barbara’s Lucy Lu (6-3, 6-3) and Cal State Fullerton’s Natalie Duffy (6-4, 0-6, 10-6)… Won three of her first four results of the spring, defeating UC San Diego’s Grace Gamal (7-5, 6-0 on Jan. 30), Hawai‘i’s Nikola Homolkova (3-6, 6-3, 10-2 on Feb. 14) and Long Beach State’s Peppi Ramstedt (6-2, 6-0 on Feb. 16)… Began conference play with a win over Utah State’s Lisa Kung (6-3, 6-2 on March 15)… Earned consecutive victories against Wyoming’s Violeta Borodina (6-6 (5-1), Inj. on March 28) and Air Force’s Alexis Odom (6-1, 6-3 on April 5).
 
PRIOR TO SDSU
JUNIOR AT OREGON (2022-23)
Posted a 6-13 singles record and a 7-12 doubles record … Went 2-9 in singles during the dual campaign and 5-7 in doubles, partnered with Karin Young, Misaki Kobayashi and Lillian Mould … Went 2-5 at the No. 3 singles spot during the spring season while going 0-4 at No. 2 singles … Both singles wins came during Pac-12 play, the first over Colorado’s Mila Stanojevic (6-1, 6-4) and the next against Washington State’s Elyse Tse (6-4, 6-1) … Picked up four singles wins during the fall campaign … Earned a win at the Husky Invitational, ITA Northwest Regional and two wins at the Watanabe Classic … Won three straight doubles matches during Pac-12 play with partner Karin Young … The duo ousted Colroado’s Ellen uzak/Betina Tokac, Utah’s Marcela Lopez/Kaila Barksdale and WSU’s Hania Abouelsaad/Fifa Kumhom – all resulting in UO victories … Produced a 5-5 record with Young during the spring season and went 0-2 with Kobayashi, both at the No. 3 doubles spot … Finished 0-1 with partner Lillian Mould, a 6-2 loss against Fresno State at the No. 3 position … in the home finale, Petchey and Young defeated USC’s Grace Piper/Naimi Cheong, 6-3, at the No. 2 doubles position … Picked up two doubles wins during the fall, the first an 8-2 win at the ITA Northwest Regional against Portland State’s Maddie Egan/Elizabeth Strongina with Young, and the second against Long Beach State’s Cook/Dondonay at the Watanabe Classic (6-2).

SOPHOMORE AT OREGON (2021-22)

Earned honorable mention All-Pac-12 recognition … Ended the year 15-12 in singles play while going 11-14 in doubles … Spent the entire dual season at the No. 2 singles spot, going 8-10, while taking on ranked opponents six times … Finished 9-8 in doubles play during the dual season, going 4-2 at the No. 3 spot and 5-6 at No. 2 … Went 7-6 when paired with primary doubles partner Allison Mulville … Oregon was 8-0 when she won her singles match … vs. Wisconsin (Feb. 5): Secured a 4-3 win for the Ducks by winning 5-7, 6-4, 6-1 in the deciding match while also clinching doubles with a 6-3 win at No. 2 paired with Mulville … vs. Saint Mary’s (Feb. 27): Dominated in doubles along with Mulville in a 6-0 win at No. 3 before winning her fifth straight singles match with a 6-3, 6-3 win at No. 2 … vs. California (March 6): Clinched the doubles point for the Ducks with a 7-6(6) victory to extend her winning streak to seven matches when paired with Mulville … vs. Arizona State (March 20): Tied the match up at two with a convincing 6-1, 6-1 win at the No. 2 spot to help the Ducks to a 4-3 win … at Utah (Apr. 1): Put up UO’s second point of the match with a 6-4, 6-2 victory while also winning in doubles, 6-3, with Mulville despite the Ducks dropping the opening point … vs. Michigan (May 6): Teamed up with Karin Young to pick up a 6-4 doubles victory … Fall: Finished 7-2 in singles during fall tournament play while going 2-6 in doubles … Husky Invitational (Oct. 8-10): Went 2-1 in singles over the weekend, highlighted by a 5-7, 6-4, 6-3 win over No. 124 Sarah-Maude Fortin of Washington … SDSU Fall Classic (Nov. 12-14): Took home the singles title in her singles draw, rolling to a 6-1, 6-3 win in the title match.

FRESHMAN AT OREGON (2020-21)
Went 1-2 in singles play and 3-1 in doubles after missing the majority of the season due to injury … Teamed up with Ares Teixido Garcia, Allison Mulville and Uxia Martinez Moral once each for wins in doubles play … Saw first action in singles play on April 4 against Stanford … vs. Portland (Feb. 19): Picked up a 6-3 win in doubles in her first action of the season, helping Oregon to a 7-0 win … vs. Eastern Washington (Feb. 20): Paired with Mulville to secure a 6-2 win to lock up the doubles point in a 6-1 victory … vs. Utah (Apr. 23): Teamed up with Martinez Moral to pick up a 6-1 doubles win before coming away with a 6-1, 6-1 victory at No. 6 singles to help Oregon to a 4-0 win in the first round of the Pac-12 Championship.
 
FRESHMAN AT OREGON (2019-20)
Finished 11-5 in singles play and 9-7 in doubles overall … Posted a .688 winning percentage in singles, good for the highest on the team among freshmen and the second-best overall … Went 9-4 in the spring in singles while finishing 6-4 in doubles in the dual season … Turned in an 8-2 mark at the No. 5 spot while going 1-2 on court No. 6 … Began the spring by winning seven of her first eight matches … Paired with Uxia Martinez Moral for all but one doubles dual match, going 6-2 with three matches unfinished … vs. Portland State (Jan. 25): Picked up a dominant 6-1, 6-0 victory over Emily Rees in the second spring match … at UC Riverside (Feb. 2): Clinched the match with a 6-3, 6-3 win … vs. Idaho (Feb. 7): Won 6-3, 6-3 to clinch for the second straight match in a 5-2 win … vs. Northern Arizona (Feb. 22): Earned the first singles point of the match after helping clinch the doubles point, winning 6-1, 6-3 at the No. 5 spot in a 4-3 win … at Fresno State (Feb. 29): Put the Ducks in front, 3-2, with a key 6-3, 7-6 win on court No. 5. Fall: Went 2-1 in singles play, all on the opening weekend at the Husky Invitational while going 3-3 in doubles action.
 
BEFORE OREGON
Ranked No. 1 in the U18 rankings in South Africa at one point while also being ranked as high as No. 179 in the International Tennis Federation (ITF) junior rankings ... Won four tournaments on the ITF junior circuit and has represented South Africa four times in the African Junior Championships ... Wins came at the 2017 NWU Pukke RSA 1 before winning two ITF junior events in 2017 ... Took home the title at the ITF U18 South Central Circuit event in Zimbabwe in 2018 ... Reached the qualifying draw for the 2019 Australian Junior Open but lost her first round match.
