Casanova had an impressive showing at the SDSU Fall Classic I, blowing past opponents only to meet and fall to teammate and Aztec veteran, Alicia Aguilar, in the finals of the singles black draw.
At the SDSU Fall Classic II, Casanova would compete in the grey singles draw, notching a victory over Lucia Kovarcikova of Utah, 6-4, 3-6, 6-1, before falling to eventual champion, Claire Dreyer of Kansas, 6-2, 6-1.
