2022-23 SEASON (As a Sophomore):
Made a huge impact in her first season on The Mesa, winning a pair of gold medals at the Mountain West Championships with SDSU’s victorious 200 and 400 freestyle relay teams, helping the Scarlet and Black capture its second straight conference title … Earned all-Mountain West honors in the 50 free and 100 free, as well as the two aforementioned relays … Contributed to the school’s fifth-fastest 200 free relay (1:29.19) at the MW meet after leading off with a personal-best split of 22.63, which is tied for eighth on the program’s fastest 50 free performance list and marked an NCAA “B” Cut time (2-17-23) … Logged a pair of fourth-place finishes in the finals of the 50 free (22.65) and 100 free (49.86) at the conference championships, the latter of which represents another career-fast clocking (2-18-23) … Led off SDSU’s 200 free relay in a home dual meet vs. San Diego, which recorded the fourth-best clocking in Aztec Aquaplex history at 1:34.12 (12-19-22) … Also helped the Aztecs to a 1-2 finish in the 200 medley relay against the Toreros after swimming anchor on the team’s runner-up group … Helped SDSU to the team title at the SMU Invitational with a ninth-place overall finish in the 50 free (22.98) before placing 15th in the 100 free (51.10) … Also established a season-best in the preliminaries of the 200 free with a time of 1:53.62 at the same meet (11-17/19-22) … Posted a pair of runner-up performances in the 100 (52.61) and 200 free (1:56.10) in a dual-meet triumph over Utah Tech at home (11-5-22) … Contributed to SDSU’s 6-0 sweep over LMU, Seattle and Grand Canyon at the GCU Quad Meet, claiming an event title in the 100 free (51.66) while swimming anchor on the Aztecs’ victorious 200 free relay team … Also anchored the SDSU’s second-place 400 medley relay team, as the Scarlet and Black placed 1-2 in the event (10-21-22) … Additionally swam the second leg of the Aztecs’ second-place 400 freestyle relay and finished third in the 200 free (1:55.10) the following day (10-22-22) … Finished third in the 50 free (24.36) in SDSU’s dual-meet opener at Pepperdine (10-6-22).

2021-22 AT MINNESOTA (As a Freshman): Originally signed with Minnesota out of high school … Competed in three events at the Minnesota Invitational in December 2021, setting season bests in the 50 free (23.40), 100 free (50.69) and 200 free (1:53.35).

PRIOR TO COLLEGE: Raced in several high-level meets in the summer of 2021, including the prestigious Wave I of the U.S. Olympic Swimming Team Trials and the elite West Fargo USA Swimming Futures … Logged a pair of finals appearances at the latter competition, highlighted by a fourth-place finish in the 50 free.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated in 2021 from Arapahoe Senior High School in Centennial, Colorado, where she garnered All-America accolades on three occasions … Set numerous team and pool records in the 50 free, 100 free and relays across multiple meets … Capped off her prep career with a Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA) 5A state title in the 50 free … Also took home a silver medal in the 100 free to help the Warriors secure a sixth-place team finish … Excelled in the classroom as well, landing on Arapahoe High’s honor roll during her final three years on campus.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Todd and Shannon Wehr … Lists Simone Manuel as her favorite athlete … Majoring in kinesiology with career plans to enter the field of sports medicine.
