2022-23 SEASON (As A Freshman):
Enjoyed an impressive debut on The Mesa, cracking the Aztec career top 10 on two occasions in the 100 and 200 backstroke at the Mountain West Championships ... Posted an NCAA "B" Cut time of 1:55.96 in the 200 back, which ranks fourth in program history ... Her mark was also the second-fastest clocking in the event despite an exhibition scoring result (2-18-23) ... Additionally set a lifetime best of 53.95 in the 100 back at the conference meet the previous day, which is slotted eighth on the school's all-time charts (2-17-23) ... Logged two other career-fast swims at the MW Championships in the 50 free (24.00) and 100 fly (57.06) ... Garnered  Mountain West Freshman of the Week accolades after helping the Scarlet and Black capture the team title at the SMU Invitational with a strong second-place finish in the 100 back (54.28) and a fourth-place effort in the 200 back (1:58.32) ... Also swam the the third leg of the Aztecs' 400 free relay and competed in the backstroke leg of the squad's third 200 medley relay team that posted the sixth-fastest time of the event at 1:42.00 (11-17/19-22) ... Helped SDSU to a 6-0 sweep at the GCU Quad Meet, featuring a season-best 54.32 in the 100 free (10-21/22/-22) ... Earned a spot on the Mountain West all-academic team following the spring semester and received conference scholar-athlete recognition.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated in 2022 from Chatfield Senior High in Littleton, Colorado, where she was a six-time NISCA All-American and all-conference champion in the 100 backstroke, 200 and 400 freestyle relays in 2018, 2019 and 2020 … Broke school records in 100 back, 200 medley relay, 200 freestyle relay, and 400 freestyle relay, which previously stood for over 10 years … Also competed in volleyball as a prep … Excelled in the classroom as well, meriting All-American Scholar recognition in 2020 and 2021 … Volunteered in the Adaptive Program and helped teach children with special needs how to swim … Chose the Aztecs over NC State, Purdue, Arkansas and Alabama during the recruiting process.

CLUB: Competed for the University of Denver Hilltoppers (TOPS), recognized as a USA Gold Medal Club, ranked among the top 20 swim clubs in the nation for team performance … Qualified for the Summer Junior Nationals in the 100 and 200 backstroke … Placed second in the 100 backstroke and third in the 400 medley relay at the 2021 Summer Sectionals … Also punched her ticket to the U.S. Open in the 100 and 200 backstroke … Contributed to a nationally ranked 200 medley relay that posted the fastest 15/16 age group time in the country in 2020 with a 1:42.38 clocking … Additionally helped her 200 medley relay place third at the 2019 Winter Juniors.

PERSONAL: Parents are Jeff and Amber Storm … Lists Missy Franklin as her favorite athlete … Enjoys drawing, painting, sculpture and ceramics … Plans to major in studio art at San Diego State with an emphasis in painting and printmaking.
